ORGANIC MANGO BUTTER-Rich in vitamins A, C, and E to help combat free radicals that can cause dryness & cracking in paws

ORGANIC RICE BRAN OIL - Rich in vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants. Able to deeply penetrate skin's layers, nourishing from within

ORGANIC SUNFLOWER OIL - Potent emollient to smooth and soften skin. Helps relieve, restore and protect paw pads

ORGANIC CARNAUBA WAX - The strongest natural wax available which offers superior, long-lasting protection

SUNFLOWER WAX - Contains a high quantity of fats acids that can be extremely beneficial for dog skin health

CANDELILLA WAX - Vegan alternative to beeswax with high ester, fatty acid and moisture retaining properties

NATURAL VITAMIN E - Very healing and also allows the skin to absorb nutrients, including those of other ingredients

BENZOIN RESIN - Helps heal cuts and abrasions and fight off germs. Can also help to reduce swelling

LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL - High effective at soothing discomfort, healing and fighting germs & bacteria

YLANG YLANG ESSENTIAL OIL - Has a soothing effect that balances skin from becoming too dry as well as too oily

Application

DIRECTIONS:For our tin container, use two fingers to scoop a small amount and rub into paw pads. Or, for no mess application, use a small beauty pad or low-absorbent cloth. Paws will be slick directly after application, so it is advised to allow time for it to dry. Apply any time before heading outdoors!

DISTRACTION:Distractions are key! Using treats, applying right before mealtime, or following with a belly rub are great distractions to allow time for the product to work it's magic!

What uses is PawTection recommended for?

Will PawTection make my Dog’s paws soft and more prone to injury?:

Dog paw pads are naturally thick, but they should not be overly dry. Dry, chapped paw pads are more prone to injury from splitting and cracking. Healthy, moisturized paws will flex rather than split and actually allow dogs to get a better grip. Dry paws do not have any traction and dogs will have a harder time walking on smooth surfaces. Many customers use our Paw Soother and PawTection for agility training to help give dogs much better contact, safety and speed.

What if my dog licks it off?

Natural Dog Company products are 100% natural, safe and edible. Our products will still work even if most of it is licked off. Though, for best results, we advise using distractions. Give your dog a raw bone to chew on, a yummy treat, dinner, or play with them for a few minutes until the carrier oils have had a chance to work its magic. We hear peanut butter works great!

What is the difference between Paw Soother & PawTection?

PawTection is used to prevent damage, while Paw Soother is used to heal existing damage. PawTection is a natural wax blend, so it provides a nourishing barrier between the paw and harsh surfaces and conditions such as hot pavement, sand, salt, ice, and snow. Paw Soother is a butter blend meant to smooth, soften, moisturize and heal dry, damaged, peeling, and cracked paw pads. Think: PawTection before going outside, Paw Soother before bed. How often show I apply PawTection?

For best results, use PawTection before going outside. Reapply periodically when exposed to harsh conditions such as ice and snow and especially really hot pavement. Dogs feel pain on their paws.
